I do not take cool pictures on my own.

Getty Images is pretty awesome, but I'm wary since they have prices and things, even next to their "Royalty Free" stuff.

I will, however, probably use them as pose ideas, and get Patrick to run around with me one day and take photos with a digital camera.

Try the stockphotos on deviantart and sheezyart? As long as they're in the 'stock' section, they're free use...

[giggles] I recently wanted to make a wallpaper of my zombies (well, revenants) from the novel/short stories, but wanted to do photomanips instead of drawing. A combination of gettyimages, devart, and sheezyart did the job, after manipping 'em -- their stock section is HUGE, but hard to sort through and can't use search. However, it's good for saving a LOT of random images, and getting ideas from that, so. XD

Actually, what I was thinking of doing - since NONE of these are going to have what I want - is finding a photo that basically matches my idea, do a line trace of it (since I love the way that looks) and add the details I need.

This is the most beautiful thing ever!

If you want, I'll take pictures. They won't be as stunning, but I can take pictures all day long. It could make both of us happy.

Or you could use old photos. The sort that are terrible, that everyone seems to have stashed in cardboard boxes.
