being sorta moderately hot - Blame mysticjuicer for this one. ;) I thought it was a hilarious interest and so, since I consider myself sorta moderately hot, adopted it. Now there are, I think, seven of us out there? XD

ethics - As in study thereof, specifically the applied ethics and moral psychology sub-branches (as described by Wikipedia). How flexible/relative is morality? And what ethical code do I ascribe to? (Can I even describe it as a code?) This is probably one of my better-loved areas of philosophy, because it doesn't make me crazy (free will vs. determinism) and actually has more depth [in my head] than "everyone's different!" (aesthetics).

good journalism - Who isn't interested in this? Okay, I guess "good" is a bit vague. Mostly this means I'm interested in important stories written without [too much? let's be honest here] bias.

great big sea - probably less than in the past, but sometimes you just want Newfoundlander boys singing sea shanties. ;)

insanity - I find mental illness to be really interesting? I mean, that's not really an in-depth thing, but why people are dysfunctional is... interesting? (Remember, I was a Psych major until my final year, and all Psych majors are just trying to figure out why WE'RE insane.)

jacqueline carey - I are fan of fantasy porn. And BDSM. And courtesans. And *coughcough*danielle*coughcough* ahem books. Okay, so that's really more "why the Kushiel series", since I didn't really like the other book by her I read started to read. But. Overall. Yay BDSM fantasy porn? I kind of want to be Phèdre.

1. If you had to choose just one fandom to enjoy for the rest of forever, which one would it be?

Man, you know, I'm just not that big in fandom any more. I don't read or write fic much any more, unless it's 1) something I recognize that a friend has posted or 2) really, really pushed by a lot of people on my flist. Art I'll look at, but it's not really something I seek out a lot, yanno? I'll giggle as much as the next person over hilarious Lucius fanart, but more and more lately I'm finding I look at either original RP characters (sheepyrai's Exalted art, f'rex) or original comics/art (sae's AoI, reflectedeve's original stuff, etc.).

2. What is your favorite eye color? Naturally occurring, that is. ;D

*lol* Probably blue, either extremely pale or extremely dark. I also like hazel.

3. If you could have absolutely any animals (wild, mythical, etc) as a companion/pet/familiar, what would it be?

Oof. Any animal at all, probably a unicorn (...probably a bad choice!), or for a real animal, probably a fox. Especially one of these, ZOMG SO CUTE.

4. What color do you wish your hair was?

I'm pretty happy with the dark-coppery-red I've got going right now. I'd like to try it an even darker, burgundy-ish red at some point, but I'm in general digging the red.

5. What's your favorite alcoholic drink? If none, what's your favorite non-standard drink (not milk, water, coffee, tea or a regular kind of juice)?

If I'm at a bar, I generally order a whiskey sour, because I actually don't know a lot of drinks and kind of freak out when asked to come up with something. *laughs* I'm always worried I'm going to ask for something complex/weird/unknown. I also really like sangria (pref. white wine but I will drink either) and Bailey's.

2. Psychology Courses

This one actually does surprise me, because it wasn't my major :) But I think if I had the chance to go back, I'd probably have pushed through for that double major instead of wimping out for the English major/Psych minor. Also, I would have taken everything possible with Burris, Rye, and Rempel. Oh wait, I did that anyway. :P

3. Comfy

I miss Comfy. :( I miss UW in general. And I know mentally it wouldn't be the same - everyone is gone, pretty well - but all the same. Nostalgia.

4. Your usericon

I drew this... YEARS ago. It's supposed to be the modern-day Tathar (...although Tathar was a redhead) in his role as band leader. I dunno. Modern-day D&D. It seemed like a good idea at the time. And preceded d20 Modern by... a few years. Heh. Anyway. I kind of wanted to be him.

I started this as a way to feel like I was doing something interesting with my life. 1/3 of the way through (more or less) and... I'm not sure it's working? But they are things I want to do nonetheless.
