I've come up with a more-or-less accurate way to determine (in my opinion) whether or not something should be considered 'sex' (and thus, losing your virginity):

If you should wear protection while doing it (to prevent STDs or pregnancy), it's sex. That includes recieving oral sex, vaginal, anal, what have you. Not performing oral sex though, because the performer isn't the one wearing.
