For my grad gift, should my parents get me a watch, or a flute? o.O

Hon, I would definitely go with the flute. For good reasons and evil reasons.

The evil reason being that if you want to buy one later, a flute is much more expensive, so why not make your parents buy it? ^^

Even if you don't use it that much at first....like me and my clarinet....you'd feel a lot worse if you wanted to play, and couldn't to do lack of intrument...then if you have one, and just rarely (or never) play it due to laziness.

watch-wise, you can get a semi-decent one for like $30.....so...I could get you one for your birthday in you really want one! But, there's no way I can get you a flute. ^^ Sorry Ali.

*laughs* Okay, so I make Chantal buy me a watch (or... you know... anime involving watches! ...why do I suddenly think of Miyuki-chan in Wonderland? o.O) and get my parents to buy the flute. ^^ Wai! Chantal is smart. *huggles*
