alexmegamiYou know how sometimes people on your friends list post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute. Since when were they working THERE? Since when were they dating HIM/HER? Since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you should already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.

1. First name: Alessandra. Or Alex or Ali but the full name is Alessandra, note the double-S-no-X spelling. ;)
2. Age: 25. I rang it in with a pretty spectacular murder mystery/cocktail party, if I do say so myself.
3. Location: Brampton, Ontario. It's part of the Greater Toronto Area, for those of you who may not know such things. ;)
4. Occupation: Receptionist drone for a private mortgage company. If you have any questions about mortgages, I'm probably a good person to ask.
5. Partner: Three, primarily Patrick.
6. Kids: Nope. Don't have 'em, don't want 'em.
7. Siblings: Three half-siblings. Katie (20) on my mother's side, and Lauren (19 today) and Eddie (17) on my dad's side. Usually if I'm talking about my sister, I mean Katie, because I see her waaaaaaaaaay more often than the other two.
8. Pets: Three cats. In order of age: Zoe (Bitchy McBitcherson, unless you're going to turn on her shower [the kitchen sink]), Zack (Captain Submissive) and his topping-from-the-bottom gay lover, Zander.
Yes, they all start with Z. We're twee like that.
9. 3 biggest things going on in my life:
A) I hate my job with a fiery passion. It has a lot of nice things going for it - good pay, they're pretty flexible about when I show up - but there is a lot to be desired. Like not evicting pregnant women or 75-year-old men who had one NSF fee cascade into losing their house. However, I think I am more or less resolved in my plan to go back to schoolyes, that is for the third time, shut up shut up shut up.
B) I just finished writing an erotic story. Partly because I promised Jen (even if I was late despite having like half a year to finish it) and partly because yay, porn.
C) Christmas shopping. I am buying Patrick a robot. I'll probably put up my wishlist shortly, but I'm not expecting anything from those of you who read this.
10. Parents: Yvonne & Claudio, who respectively remarried Russ and Terry. My parents were total jocks and totally driven and kind of fearless as far as I can tell, which makes me suspect I am adopted. ;)
