1. Fitday, Sparkpeople, H&M Online, etc. getting pissy at me for trying to enter, respectively, the weight I want to be, the calories I want to eat, and my actual weight. Look, I'm sorry that I'm trying to GAIN weight, but that IS actually the direction I want my weight to go. Same goes for you, Sparkpeople - yes, I really DO want to eat 2000 calories a day, not 1500! And H&M being like, "um, no, our online model is going to have the minimum healthy BMI" - while I can sort of see where the programmers were probably coming from, I don't weigh 126 pounds, OK?

2. Work. Bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh.

3. Being sick and tired all the goddamned time.

What are you looking for? Have you tried NutritionData.com? I guessed your height and lifestyle (sedentary?) and it said that you need about 1924 calories a day to maintain weight. That means if you want to gain weight, you'll have to eat, like, 2424 calories a day.

It also gave the nutritional requirement breakdown. It also has the nutritional breakdown of various foods.

2000 calories is not going to gain you weight. You need to have 500 more calories than what is required to maintain weight every day.

How do you feel about nuts? Pecans are really good, a cup of pecans is about 700 calories. Avocado? Those are pretty good calorie sources, as well as having protein and good fats. Eggs are also pretty good.

Focus on your weight training?

I advice peanut butter as well. It's serving size is 1 tablespoon and will be like 100+ calories with like 12% of a 1500 cal intake in fatty fat. Peanuts or other nuts are even better for pumping up the calories since their serving size is like 1/3 or 1/4 a cup.

Meaty things are pretty good like this too. Sausages and Burgers especially (since they don't really tell you about steak).

That's odd...According to the nutritional chart I looked at Kraft Smooth Peanut Butter has a serving size of 1tbsp and has 8g of Fat and 1.5g of Sat Fat for 90 Calories.

Well, in light of Pat allergies actually it might be tricky to go ahead and start eating a bunch of nutty foods...I still would advise meat however, at least the ones that are plainly obvious to be worse for you. So non-lean burgers and sausages for example. You could try frying up cut sausage as a meal item alongside salad and mashed potatoes for example...It's all up to your food preferences of course.

Also, cheese is a good choice for loading on the fat and calories. Combine with pasta and milk and butter to make a cheese sauce/coating that increases the taste IMO for loads of calories. If you're a bit sensitive to the amount of fat though then use low-fat varieties.
