Drinking Buddies

Galen and Siegfried from the Lifeholme D&D campaign. Next: Romas and Owen!

EDIT Anyone know how to string a bow without a bow stringer? If not, I may have to change the image plan.

Bow... stringer...?

I believe that the technique involved is: Put the first loop of the string on one of the ends, brace one's foot against the bottom of that end and carefully bend the bow while bringing the free end of the string up until you can loop it around the other end of the bow. Carefully release.

I agree with both paragraphs.

Also: Great picture, even if Galen's limbs look a little longer than they should. You've captured their spirit and their general disposition well, which is what matters most.

Also also: By the way Patrick plays is character, I would have never guessed that he is the last of his kind. I kinda ZOMGed when I read that.

That's pretty much it, yeah. The fact that he is generally so aloof about everything. It makes sense, in the "I'm trying to distract myself from the terrible tragedies of my past" kind of way, but I just figured he was a plain ol' generic goofball.

There was also this moment:

Galen: "Sooo, had any run-ins with demons?"
Owen: "Yes."
Galen: "H'okay then! I'm going outside now..."

He seemed very surprised. Granted, perhaps it wasn't demons that eradicated his half-elven-half-Asian kind, but that sort of epic drama shouldn't be so foreign to him.

Maybe he just has this thing against demons. Would explain him freaking out over the shadowing things in the labyrinth as well.

Could be I'm reading too much into this, but all of a sudden Galen has more depth than I ever would have imagined, and I am awash with awe at Patrick's roleplaying prowess.

So I should definitely go with the "could be I'm reading too much into this" POV. Roger that.
