1) Who would make a better college professor: 6, or 11?

Danielle or Rook? Hands down, Rook. Both had educations, but Rook has a Masters, and is brilliant to boot. Danielle would know all the books on the curriculum (since they never CHANGE, at least in Dragon-Blooded society), but she couldn't bring anything new or interesting to their readings (though that might be an advantage, again in that society).


2) Do you think 2 is hot? How hot?

Statistically speaking, yes. Lidia was, by the end, hot. Or at least more attractive than average. She was a LARP character, though, so in reality, no hotter than I am.

3) 12 sends 8 on a mission. What is it, and does it succeed?

Pearl sends Anne on a mission, eh? I have no idea what that would be like. It would be like Patience (Anne's possibly-twin-sister) sending Anne on a mission. It would probably be some do-gooder mission, like "go build a house for the poor" or something of the like, and, well, no plan ever survived contact with Anne. She was a fucking force of nature. Oh, and she loves machines. A little too much. The enemy would probably send robots to stop her.

4) What is, or would be, 9's favourite book?

Tathar? The Idiot's Guide to Surviving Idiots. Barring that, something written by a satirist with truly biting wit.

5) Would it make more sense for 2 to swear fealty to 6, or the other way around?

Lidia to Danielle? No, absolutely not. Lidia loves fire, not the sun; Danielle would terrify her (although she did have 4 Courage). The other way around? Danielle tends to avoid people that have the crazy. So, no.

6) For some reason, 5 is looking for a room-mate. Should they share a studio apartment with 9, or 10?

Aine shares an apartment with Tathar: Tathar dies because he snipes Aine at exactly the wrong moment. Aine shares an apartment with Wilma, Aine dies because she snipes Wilma at any time for any reason and Wilma goes DEATHRAGEBLARGITYBLERGaaaaaaaaah, that feels better...

7) 2, 7, and 12 have dinner together. Where do they go, and what do they discuss?

Lidia, Melody, and Pearl. Hmmm. Well, Lidia and Pearl are, frankly, probably eating Melody. WHICH DOES NOT GO WELL AT ALL. 'cause, well, Mage blood makes vampires either go crazy or ash. WHEEE.

Um, but assuming they go somewhere and Melody eats while the other two fake it? They probably talk about music or about charity, with Melody patiently explaining to Pearl that she's homeless by choice and doesn't really want the help, but that the idea of helping the homeless is good in practice, with Lidia trying to slow that fervor because she eats a lot of homeless people and doesn't want her food source drying up.

8) 3 challenges 10 to a duel. What happens?

Leah vs. Wilma, kumate!

Interesting. Well, it would depend on a few things. One: does invisibility work when someone turns into a werewolf? If yes (limitedly, as Wilma could probably find her by scent), Leah probably wins, as she has the advantage of range and hidden. If not, it depends how good Leah's opening volleys are. Leah's a tough girl, and could hit up armor too - so I think I'm actually going to give this one to Leah.

9) If 1 stole 8's most precious possession, how would 8 get it back?

Az steals Anne's most precious possession. This is probably a super-techno-magic gadget. Anne gets it back through the use of other super-techno-magic gadgets, and blows Az (and a good chunk of countryside) up for doing it, too.

10) Suggest a title for a story in which 7 and 12 both attain what they most desire.

Love and Peace in a Capitalist World, with foreword by John Lennon. (Melody and Pearl.)

11) What kind of plot device would you use if you wanted 4 and 1 to work together?

Az and Mackenzie? Easy. A crime scene that would likely lead to other crime scenes. Az would be investigating it; Mackenzie would be hunting for relics of the crime scene. Az would allow her to take minor items of little importance, if Mackenzie would be her bloodhound.

12) If 7 visited you for the weekend, how would you get along?

Uhhh... pretty well. I like singalongs, and that's pretty much Melody's raison d'etre. *laughs* I'd probably get annoyed with her eventually, though, and I'm not sure how long I could stand her randomness.

13) If you could command 3 to perform any one task or service for you, what would it be?

Leah, my own personal magical assassin girl? Oh, the possibilities. I don't know, though. I'd probably get her to steal something cool but that wouldn't be missed, like an advance copy of HP7.

14) Does anyone on your friends list resemble 11 (either in appearance or personality)?

Good god, I hope not. Rook looks like a dead strangling victim with multiple lacerations and bruises. Under that, though, she -- again, LARP -- looks like me, so...

Personality-wise? I know lots of shy, bookish nerds. ;) Not so many that have an obsession with serial killers, though.

15) If 2 had to choose sides between 4 and 5, which would it be?

Lidia has to choose between Mackenzie and Aine, completing the WoD triumvirate of Vampire vs. Werewolf vs. Mage. She probably chooses Mackenzie, because Mackenzie is less obnoxious than Aine.

16) What might 10 shout while charging into battle?

Wilma would issue a heartfelt howl meant to inspire and urge on her packmates. If it had any meaning behind it, it would probably be For the _____! (whatever they were fighting for) or Glory!

17) If you chose a song to represent 8, which song would you choose?

Anne? Uhhhh... Joan Jett and the Blackhearts - Bad Reputation.

18) 1, 6, and 12 are having dim sum at a Chinese restaurant. There is only one scallion pancake left, and they all reach for it at the same time. Who gets to eat it?

Az and Pearl don't eat, and they're probably at least a little scared of Danielle. Danielle eats it. Sexily.

19) What might be a good pick-up line for 2 to use on 10?

Is it just me, or is Lidia in a LOT of these? Okay, so Lidia is picking up ... Wilma. Oh dear. Despite all evidence to the contrary, Wilma is NOT interested in women. Lidia, hopefully, picks up (hah!) on this BEFORE she attempts the pick-up line. Lidia, assuming she did try and didn't get eaten, would probably ask Wilma something EXTREMELY PERSONAL that no one else knows. ...a GOOD pick-up line, on the other hand, would probably be inviting Wilma to a restaurant specializing in meat.

20) What would 5 most likely be arrested for?

Aine? Going crazy and threatening a mundane with a sword. It was GOING to happen, too, mark my words. Or, possibly, attacking Dwight Crowne in front of hundreds of witnesses.

21) What is 6's secret?

Danielle? Well, it depends which version of Danielle. The most likely one is that she isn't a Dragon-Blooded/is a Solar Exalted, since she's pretty much faking being employed by the Dragon-Blooded, and, well, she's Anathema and would have been hunted down and killed by them. Alternatively, in a world where she is known to be a Solar, she would keep her love for Ba'ne/Ba'ne himself a secret, because other Solars tend to look unfavorably upon Dragon-Blooded, and his life would be at risk.

22) If 11 and 9 were racing to a destination, who would get there first?

Rook vs. Tathar? Depends. Tathar has access to people with magic; Rook does not. In a straight-up contest, though, Rook wins (she's the stronger/faster of the two).

23) If you had to walk home through a bad neighborhood late at night, would you feel safer in the company of 7 or 8?

Melody or Anne? Oh, god. Um, Anne would probably react with gunfire to just about ANY problem, so I'm actually going to say Melody: people have a hard time hating her, and she would use magic in a non-lethal way if it came down to needing to save our butts.

24) 1 and 9 reluctantly team up to save the world from the threat posed by 4's sinister secret organization. 11 volunteers to help them, but it is later discovered that he/she is actually a spy for 4. Meanwhile, 4 has kidnapped 12 in an attempt to force their surrender. Following the wise advice of 5, they seek out 3, who gives them what they need to complete their quest. What title would you give this fic?

So Az and Tathar team up to save the world from Mackenzie's sinister secret (high school?) organization. Rook volunteers to help, but is spying for Mackenzie. (Makes a little sense.) Mackenzie has kidnapped Pearl in order to force Az and Tathar to surrender (never going to happen; Az is too willful and Tathar doesn't care). Aine gives them wise advice (probably actually from Wu; she's just a mouthpiece) and they seek out Leah, who gives them her services (and silver bullets).

I title this fic, Where Have All the Vampires Gone?, or, alternatively, Magical Girls to the Rescue.
