If you were watching a five minute movie on YouTube/TV, and it was something AWESOME, would you rather that it be:

-a hilarious improv-esque sketch of a guy dressing up in his fiancée's wedding dress and polling random people about whether or not they thought it would look good on her?

-a funny film group of ex-supervillains at a support group, going through their Supervillains Anonymous meeting?

-a kind of depressing movie about an Alzheimer's patient and her daughter, and the communication issues that result from the dementia that is setting in?

-a kind of depressing movie with a hopeful twist, about a sick girl that folds a ton of origami cranes and gets one wish granted?

...I know you guys, and I know I should probably wipe off the depressing stuff RIGHT NOW. BUT. DOES YOUR OPINION CHANGE IF YOU'RE ABOUT TO BE IN IT? EH? EH?

You totally know you want to dress up as supervillains. Evil top hats and all.

I'm not fond of YouTube as it is, but can I vote out Sadako? The story's sweet, but there's a part of me that deeply hates it. No, I don't know why.

This is one of those, "You're making me sit and do nothing but watch this for FIVE minutes? I have a LIFE, you know," things. [Which is hilarious, given the fact that I played RE2 for two hours this evening. And regaularly dick around on the internet for hours, accomplishing virtually nothing.]

Umm. I like the Alzheimer's idea, and the SVA thing. The dress thing, eh, not so much.

I had a friend say that "I have a LIFE" thing about toothbrushing and the required three minutes. So, you know, at least I'm not alone. *grin* I can totally see your kitten-like ADD though, it makes sense.

:D The dress thing is sorta cute and zany, but the time limit seems a little steep.

(I do, believe it or not. *grin* I know, I'm amazed too.) I'm not sure, though. I never have the strength to watch them all the way through. That obnoxious kid on the Man Show, though, his stunts almost never last five minutes, IIRC [okay, I watched two, both times because I was too appalled to change the channel]. Time one of them, maybe?

Unless you've got really hilarious writing, I'd vote for the dress. If you've got really hilarious writing, then I love the super-villain idea.

I remember that movie about the sick girl with the origami cranes - but I remember it as a Japanese girl who is suffering cancer because of Hiroshima fallout who was adopted by an American family and how she wanted to fold 1000 cranes to have her wish granted but died before she could complete it. Then ever since people folded cranes for her. Or something.

I think it was a true story.

Super Villians.

Mainly because I know you'd write it to be awesome.

Supervillians because I dislike depressing. Give me something that makes me angry, happy or interested. If it makes me sad I try and get myself angry to chase away the "mopies".
