And Tanya Huff can't tell us who is cast YET, but she is guessing an official press release will come out by the time of filming AND "it's REALLY cool". here

EEEEEEE!!! I was REALLY hoping for nWoD Changeling, but I didn't think it was going to happen! That's AWESOME! Is it official? Who is the guy who posted it?

Black Hat Matt is one of the freelancers, so he's not anyone "official" official, but Gen Con is this weekend and they'll be revealing it for absolutesure there. So I'm sure we'll hear for absolutesure by Sunday.

I checked WW forums...the rumour is that some people have gotten the Promethean book early, and that it says "Changeling: Coming in 2007" at the end.

A Canadian fantasy TV series? Filmed where? I must know more!

Filmed in Toronto, I can only assume (being funded by CHUM, so yes, I will have to harrass Jay to start keeping an eye out for it!), it is based on the Victory Nelson series of books by Tanya Huff (12345) starring ex-cop Vicky Nelson, her former partner Mike Celluci, and former-(bastard?)-prince-now-vampire-turned-romance-writer Henry Fitzroy. Oh, and gay street kid/hustler Tony.

And their wacky adventures with other supernaturals! (Demons, werewolves, mummies, zombies and ghosts. And I really hope I have the books in the right order. I can never remember where in the lineup the mummy goes.)

They are much fun. *crosses fingers and hopes links work*

And, to be honest, besides the fact that the author wrote one of the episodes, and that I have totally met the author and have a picture with her and everything and I'm a total fangirl oh god?

THis is hugely exciting. My little theatre degree just got all excited ;) I'm forwarding the info like mad to various people I know who work in the industry (Actors, editors, etc) in the hopes that there might be an opening somewhere. Isn't it sad how rare Canadian TV shows are, that we're so buzzed about this?

(Also, this is a good reason for me to read more Tanya Huff ;) I've only read her 'Summon the Keeper' series...)
