WHY MUST HANDS BE SO FUCKING HARD TO DRAW?
I feel so cynical right now. I have this super-frilly gothic lolita dress come out just fine... but FOUR FINGERS will not be drawn.
ARGH!!!!!

Date: 2006-05-11 03:59 pm (UTC)Alright. You mentioned Japanese in your first reply, and now something about dressing like an "elegant gothic lolita." This is probably totally off-base, but... Ikuhara?
Also: He may have been the first to coin the term "elegant gothic lolita," but "lolita" on its own does very much refer to a young lady. I'm also pretty sure, but not certain, the term "lolita" came from the book. Hence my confusion why a term used to describe young girls is used to describe a dress.
Your "gothic lolita = Japanese fashion craze" explanation is quite satisfactory and makes sense of your original post. I just want to make it clear that I gave the explanation above because I could not may any sense out of what I didn't quote from your last comment.
Also: the link for the book? Apparently people who bought Lolita also bout Harry Potter books. Perhaps a little creepy?
