In the end, it wasn't because I hit the pylon during my parallel park, but because I had a rolling stop.

Sorry to hear about that. At the very least you know how to improve...I don't even know where to start :p I figure that when I go for my G license that I'll need to book in Winter for Spring (since booking in fall gets me winter) and I'll need refreshment with how to 'properly' drive.

Yeah. You might want to consider (as I am) taking another couple of rounds with a driving instructor. They sometimes have refresher courses of 1-2 hours with the instructor for your G test.

Unf. I had a rolling stop, but it didn't kill me - only because I was so fucking nervous that I did almost everything else perfectly, short of minor forgetfulness [who puts a car into Park after a parallel park? *tsks at self*] and something I maintain wasn't my fault.

I'm lame, I never got my G2. I was too tired in high school to practice driving most of the time, and because of my ADD symptoms I don't notice everything that I need to notice when I'm driving.

Highway was 95% fine (he did say my lane changes were too sharp), it was that rolling stop and the pylon-hitting that killed me.

awww, shitty. Well at least it's not like you lose out on a lot of freedom. The diffrence between a G2 and a G isn't that much, is it?
