This weekend was fun. Lots of sleeping. (I am sleepy now, actually, which is silly because I wasn't until I got on the bus. I think I have conditioned myself to sleep on the bus.)

Vampire was yet another notch in "the ST is fucking us soundly" category. Az tossed her knife in for a Lancea Sanctum ritual (because you had to toss in something important to you, and it was the only thing she had on her) - did I mention this is her Ventrue Knife of Crazy^TM? Power Object Fixation whot! - and so yeah, she went more crazy. And tried to grab the knife out of boiling lava, so that was fun agg hands which I still haven't healed. Also -2 dice on all Discipline rolls until I overcome that particular bout of crazy, which is two Humanity away. Woo~.

On the plus side, I got all my Willpower back?

I think I pity D'or the most on that one. He's got a protégée that is an insane (er... Ventrue), blood-addicted diablerist. I mean, seriously, is that the person you'd want to trust with - well, anything?

We were yelled at (well, 'we' as the entire city - D'or is not a happy man at the moment) because no one knew about the, you know, cabal of vampires created to sustain an insane ghoul. Basically, it was a "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU PEOPLE DOING?!?! DO WE NEED THE BUDDY SYSTEM? ARE YOU COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT?!" moment. Or ten. Of embarrassed foot-shuffling.

Then Tomoe staked an Archon (with PENCILS!!!) because he found out about Cindy notifying the RCMP about other hunters. (Cindy had gone to Pierre to have those memories wiped, but no one thought to wipe Tomoe's memories of being told this by Cindy.) This was also of the Not Good.

(Er, to explain this - the RCMP manhunt for David Weaver was being led by Nick Shatton, whom Bastian thinks is the "Shattonjaeger". The Shattonjaeger is basically a German vampire bogeyman who has the supreme awesome power to strike down vampires (and who can see through Obfuscate and use Dominate - or at least, Nick can) and who knows that Cindy is still alive and a vampire, and who has captured Pierre and Az in the past.

So Cindy got the bright idea, when we were being chased down by Jeremy Whitland's crazed vampire minions, to call Nick Shatton/the RCMP on them. (D'or actually thinks this is a bright idea - if two sets of hunters kill each other, it saves him/us the trouble.) However, this led to a rather horrific breach of the Masquerade (potentially) when the RCMP caught up to the van that was spiriting Whitland's vampires away - and they got a faceful of ash.

So, basically, there have been a lot of problems.)

So, Tomoe staked the Archon when he found out about this little issue. And then Cindy accidentally put the Archon into torpor by draining him of all his blood and beating him up. :D :D :D;;; (She wanted him to be weak for when Pierre erased his memories, and went a little overzealous.)

So they called up D'or, because D'or is the smart one around here. D'or calls up Windsor (where the Archon had come from) and the following ensued:

"This is Prince D'or of KW."
"Oh, you're Prince now? How quaint."
"Yup, and your Archon breached the Masquerade. What are you going to give me, bitches? (Bastian, go make evidence that the Archon breached the Masquerade, will you?)"
"Uh... what? Oh. (Fuck fuck fuck fuckity fuck!!!) We'll... get back to you."

The getting back to will be next game.

And then Sam diablerized someone.

D'or is going to kill someone soon, I think. :D

This is Pat's Requiem game, which has been running for... I think nearly a year, now. (We just hit the 100 XP mark, too.)

In-game, it's been the four months since the characters were Embraced as part of a social/physiological experiment (basically, a slight reinterpretation of the demo game).

Hehehe. I'd recommend picking up the WoD book sooner than you pick up the M:tA book - just so you don't have to sit and read the rules before settling in with the 400-page wonder.

Hehehe. That sounds fun, and I think I got the gist of it even though it's really hard to understand descriptions of what's happened in a game you weren't playing in.

It was entertaining, and yeah, other people's stories are never as interesting as ones you were there for. They just don't make sense, 90% of the time.

That's why lines that don't need context are better :)

Haha, it is pretty awesome. Also kind of frightening when the Prince and the neo-Nazi are arguing in the Aryan tongue about things that kill you. :P

He would only be more frightening if he said, "das ist ein furlyburly!"

A New TV Show

A hip young teenager, a meek Japanese woman, and a stern German businessman all living in the same house, and as if that weren't enough, they're all vampires. It's all coming up on Those Crazy Ventrue.

*g* 'cept Tomoe, in this case, isn't a Ventrue. She's a Daeva. ;)

Pierre, on the other hand...

Actually, we have a lot of Ventrue. Az, Bastian, D'or, Pierre, Charloette... they make up a good third of the city. Then the Mekhet, I think, with Cindy, Father Lee, and the Greys (x2), and then Daeva.

Practically no Gangrel, and only one Nos.
