Shop talk (LARP) / movies
Jul. 26th, 2004 09:47 amSo! LARP on Saturday was amusing. I'm going to have endless amounts of fun defending Januarius from the accusations of Sabbat allegiance. Watch me whip myself up into a righteous fury! Oh, the entertainment will be sweet. And Januarius might die. That would suck, we need the asylums...
But the arguments are so circumstantial that they form a sort of hole-filled hula hoop around Winter without ever directly touching him. I'm not worried just yet.
I look forward to this.

Harold and Kumar review - I really want to see that movie.
In other movie news, we went to see The Bourne Supremacy* last night. Fun! Definitely a good movie, though I wouldn't see it twice for any reason other than Julia Stiles.
*Edit because I had a brain fart. Thanks, Steph.

Harold and Kumar does look fun. Can't wait to go see it.

Date: 2004-07-28 02:29 pm (UTC)I figure if the scene lasted longer it would be a crucible as to what wins out -- the Sheriff's reputation, Januarius' unlife, or the third party... the strict interpretation of the law: Januarius can do what he likes as long as he ultimately doesn't break the six Traditions. This also applies to Shamus as well. The latter's mistake is making this an official matter instead of just doing something about it on his own and off the record. (Even well-trumped-up charges might have been better.)
I do wish Januarius would figure out that filling airtime with his own voice (because "people aren't doing anything!") doesn't spur others to do anything. It just fills the air with his own voice.
It opens this friday:
