So I got a 78% on my poetry criticism. Mainly, as far as Patrick and I can tell, because I thought the flowers were women, instead of symbols of youth and innocence.
Wait... so I read too much into the poem?
Patrick says I should write my professor a note, or go in and contest my mark (and, of course, explain why). I, however, dislike confrontation, even if it is non-violent and non-angry. I can feel the aura of disapproval at my grade-grubbing right now... it clings like octopi to my unblemished skin! Aiee!
Still, maybe Patrick has a point. My essay was worth more than 78% (and, as he pointed out, all the other comments are along the lines of 'Insightful!' and 'Good point!').
Votes?
I realized when Patrick dropped me off today that I'd left my bag at his place. Thankfully, I still had my Italian binder, so I could do up my marks for the Italian lab, but I don't have my Italian textbook, so I couldn't study.
Meh. I'll do fine. I've got it all memorized already... well, except the vocabulary. And that, I can make damn good guesses about.

And I should think (briefly) on the mini-essay topic of "what I plan to do over the Christmas vacation".
Which leads me to my rage:
My exams are on the 16th and 18th of December.
Lord of the Rings: Return of the King comes out on the 17th.
There had just better be good weather on the eve of the 16th so that Dad will come and get me... or there will be RAGES! OF PAIN!
Other than that, I think I've finally decided on the Mage character I'm going to play in the game Patrick and Adrian are starting. Akashic Brotherhood! Street kid! Whee!
And I have a background for her and an idea for her Avatar and all my foci, too.
Now, to write all that insanely long character background! Everything! All of it!
"Those in a hurry do not arrive."
"Charlie, what does that even mean?"
"Go wash the dishes, my child."
I do like the idea of him handing her a book on how to read, write, and speak Korean. And the Go players that are a little weird. And just random fun stereotypes that aren't really.
I like Charlie. Too bad he's... well, I suppose it's all relative, isn't it?
