theferrett made an interesting post about 'curves'. There are certain attributes in people that will get us to pay attention to them, even if otherwise we wouldn't look twice. Or movies that we wouldn't watch if not for that style/director/actor/what have you.

This is my list (slightly updated from what I posted):

Sex Appeal:
Accent: +1
...+2 if it's Italian or English
...+3 if it's Australian
Wavy/Curly Hair: +2
Blond or Red Hair: +1 (the combo doesn't work, though - don't like strawberry blondes)
Can carry on an intelligent conversation: +3

...which puts Heath Ledger at a stunning +6 from the get-go. Why am I not surprised.

Actors:
Julia Stiles: +1
Johnny Depp: +1
Ed Norton: +1
Tom Felton: +1
Heath Ledger: +3

...Quite shallow, really... ah well. I likes my actors.

Movies:
Comedy: +2
'Teen' Comedy: -2 (Scary Movie, American Pie, etc.)
Sequel: -3
Foreign: +1
Indie: +.5
Animated/CGI: +1
Pre-90's: +2
Fantasy: +.5

General:
Postmodernist: -10 (on principle)
Determinist: -10 (ditto)

Joking, of course... at least for those last two.
