My Weekend:
Aug. 5th, 2003 12:00 amOn Friday:
-Patrick showed up a little late, but certainly not two hours late.
-Joyee and Steven showed up. They got me FAKE!!! *loves*
-We went to East Side Mario's for dinner, which was tastyfish, wandered around HMV and Indigo for a while (I read a bunch of Sandman 4), then went back to my place...
-Whereupon we played Cranium (where Joyee and Steven kicked me and Patrick in the bum, because Pat is not artsy-type), and Genderbender (whereupon Joyee and I kicked Steven and Pat in the bum). Much fun was had!
-Then there was Questions/Truth Truth Truth and Truth. Also much fun, though towards the end I was falling asleep.
"You'd be SURPRISED what I'll stay awake for!"
-Then there was... sleep.
---
Saturday, we drove to the mall to get money and foodstuffs, and then, in the pouring rain, went to Renfest! It was much fun, even with the rain. Patrick bought a riding crop. I was highly amused. Also, various cool things happened, and blonde pirate chickie was HOT! as was pirate boy with eyepatch and glasses. Joyee shrieked for the pirate captain, who was very cool. We almost managed to kill Pat with the peanut-oil-fried Peasant Bread, but no luck. Spent the ENTIRE AFTERNOON looking for Vince Conaway, only managing to find him in the last ten minutes. But I got three songs, woot!
---
Sunday, I mostly hung out with Patrick, which is always entertaining. We got brunch (after he rudely awakened all of us at eleven).
"Yes, because I do not know of a time that is eleven o'clock in the AFTERNOON." -Steven
Other funny things included
"But if you like being on bottom and I like being on bottom, whatever will we do?"
"We'll manage. On our sides."
I can't remember what the other two were, but they were also funny. Anyway, I won that verbal duel.
Then there was Buffy, which I sort of half-watched while checking LJ.
"What can you possibly use against me?"
"Full disclosure?"
"DAMNIT!"
Oh! And: "It's not like you were tied up or anything...", but that was more of a Monday morning thing.
---
Monday we woke up at around one-thirty-ish, because I got home at 2 AM and Joyee and Steven were playing Warcraft 3 until later than that, and we tried to go to Grand China, but like always, it was CLOSED! so we went to Sweet Dreams. Then we hung out for a bit longer, and then Pat drove me home.
Joy!
But sadness.
