I am under this horrible urge to create my own Keenspace comic. This would not be so bad if I had regular access to a decent scanner, but I do not. Nor do I have the artistic talent I would need (re: want) to have in order to do so. >.< If I did, though, I would so have Gabriel and Takashi on Keenspace in an instant.

Which means... I have lots of new music! What am I going to do? Listen to it incessantly! XD funfun.

I'm going on holiday to the Dominican Republic on Saturday for a week. ^^ Hurrah! Warmth! *hugs Warmth*

Anyway, I'm going to bed now, because (for once in my life) I'm sleepy at 2 AM. ^^

Look around those comics. You don't need to have art talent to do some of them ;)

You have quite some artistic talent now =) If you end up drawing the same characters over and over for over 400 frames of a comic, you're bound to get better =) If you look at a lot of the Keenspace comics and compare their older ones to their newer ones, the art on the newer ones is a lot better =) Or look at Adventurers =) http://www.adventurers-comic.com The art there isn't particularly amazing... it's a very popular comic tho. People are drawn to comics by how funny/entertaining they are, not necessarily by how they look. (and you can draw a *lot* better than this guy I think ;) So the way I see it, as long as you're funny, people will read it no matter how bad the art is (unless it's so bad that you can't tell what is what so it interferes with how people interpret it =)

But the story I would use (despite Takashi's occasional silliness/embarrasment) is fairly serious. So...

And I'm a decent artist, but I'll be damned if I can draw in more than three perspectives, or make the same character look the same for more than two frames ^^;

It'll be cute. Characters will constantly change the way they look. It'll make the comic unique. You can make it "your thing" kinda thing =) It'll be like a game =)

Actually, my idea was: my sister is, at the age of 12, a far better artist than I (and has doodled rather amusing comics before). So, I'm going to commission her to draw my gay angel and his pimp. XD

But more people read comics that have a reasonable amount of talent in their art. I agree with you Hoshi, if I could actually draw oh the fun I'd have with my characters....

I side with the fat that you don't need good pictures to have successful comics. But then again...:P...bad pictures don't exactly help a comic book either.(*panic*Not to say your a bad artist or anything)
Or you can kidnap Min and make him your cartoonist/slave.
