Well, sent in my housing application today. ^_~ Always for V1 *laughs* Single, Interconnected, or Double, with no preference for #4. I figure, I was at 10 AM on the first day, I've got a good chance of getting one of those. ^^

Anyway... still planning out courses, or trying to. ^^;; Le sigh... I just can't do everything I want to; it's absolutely impossible. Ah well. As long as I get my Japanese, I'll be happy ^_~ If I don't... mmm... killing sprees. ^^

Agh! Why can't people write?! It wasn't a hard fucking assignment! You had 16 pieces to choose from! And some of these... are pure tripe. For a Writer's Craft course, some of these are really, really bad. And when I say bad, I mean that my little sister could come up with a better short story plot than some of them... And some people didn't even bother doing a grammar/spelling check! *shudders* Honestly... Maybe I'm just elitist because I've been in Enhanced my whole life (that's a lie... I KNOW I'm elitist because of it) - but, come on, here, people. Word 97 has a spellchecker - use the damn thing!

I never realized how emphatic I am in the margins when editing work. You should see my notes on Deb's piece. ^^; "AMAZING!!" is scrawled down the entire left side. Simon, I don't believe I'm the best from - the two speeches and Carrie's essay are also really good. Kristina may not be a very good philosopher, but she's actually a good writer.

Anyhoo... back to the stories...

Well... if they're that bad in High School, they won't change in College. Beginning Fiction class i took I wondered how some people even got admitted when they took FOREVER to read something. I think the worst was the ghetto wannabe who wrote his entire story in that slang. Painful to read....
