Logical Fallacy The First:

Mother walks in this morning, probably around 9:30.
"So what time did YOU waltz back in last night?"
"*muffled groan* (Shit.) Before two..." (NB: 1:41 AM.)
"And you think your curfew's changed, has it?"
"No, we just started out late."
"Well, you should have been the first one home."
(My own mistake here - I should have said I was (and I was)).
"I was about to call the police."
--now, hold up here a second. If she'd been waiting up, 1) she would have KNOWN what time I got in at. 2) if she thought I'd been injured, why didn't she come downstairs? Just because I'm home doesn't exclude injury. 3) If she was really that angry at me, why didn't she come downstairs to yell at me last night?
"You should have called."
Right, and woken up my entire family, sending my sister into a panic and my mother into hissy fits. Noooo thank you.
Anyway, I can only conclude that she was actually asleep, woke up for like five seconds when I came in, looked over and saw the clock did not say '12:59' and decided to get angry at me in the morning.
Blah. Whatever.
