It's 7:30 AM! Good morning, world!
So Katie woke up Simon when she woke up, and I woke up Patrick (for different reasons - Simon woke up due to alarm, Patrick woke up because I was all shifting around).
You will notice that there's a distinct lack of me waking up in there. The cleverer of you may be able to figure out why that is.
Anyway, so four people aged 20-25 were all awake at 7:30 AM, and we all ate a decent breakfast, and then one of them went off to work.
I feel so proud of us.
Also hysterical with laughter because apparently I am completely loony, but we knew that, it's nothing new.
So I'd like to be your tour guide to 7:30 AM! Currently the weather is SO SUNNY I CAN'T ACTUALLY SEE THE OUTDOORS with a side of DEAR GOD THIS APARTMENT IS HOT.
I am drinking extremely milky, extremely sugary tea.
I turned on iTunes because I realized that you know what? This post is starting to sound like a morning show in which the host has had nothing prepared, because it's seven fucking thirty in the morning on a Saturday, what sane person is awake? Only the morning show host, that's who. So she is rambling like a fucking lunatic because all that's around to entertain her is the sound of her own voice as she slowly goes off the rails.
Please imagine all the previous with more creative swearing and a British accent, not that I'm trying to mimic Yahtzee of Zero Punctuation or anything. At all.
Back to iTunes.
The current selection is by Steve Jablonsky, which is not only the best name ever but also one that Firefox's spellcheck is not picking up on, despite picking up on spellcheck and iTunes, and the piece is "Optimus vs. Megatron". This is because I am on Patrick's laptop and he is a HUGE FUCKING NERD.
Oh, don't get me wrong. I love him dearly. But seriously, is anyone else worried by the Transformers habit? Should I stage an intervention? How much is too much? Am I enabling him in his ways?
In perhaps related news, I like vampires.
Probably too much for anyone's good.
Like, really.
A lot.
...
In other news, I quite liked Fledgling, which I will talk about at the end of February.
Speaking of goals for this month, I'm not progressing very well on a lot of them. It's like I only have space for so many of them and then I spend the rest of the month sleeping. Perhaps literally.
And now it's 8:30 AM, so I will leave this rambling insanity here for posterity, and my own amusement, and in case you need to prove to the authorities that I am critically insane.
