Apr. 14th, 2002 12:52 am1. Best time to write:
When the inspiration strikes. I've had it happen nearly everywhere - school, home, friends, night, day... I can't just sit and make myself write. I'm too much of a perfectionist to put out crap, and then go back and change it. Small changes, yes; larger and I feel like a failure and ditch it anyway.
2. Got a specific play list?:
LVDA does - openings, endings, and theme songs (in English and Japanese). Keenan and Seth have songs I associate with them; Emmett has Theme Music (Superman!), and... it just really depends. (It would be interesting to remember what I was listening to when I wrote Victor...)
Mostly, I just listen to whatever fits my mood, which is almost always how the story turns out - happy, sad, slightly maniacal, horrendously lesbian... *laughs* Not so say the lesbian part is horrendous, just that it's so OBVIOUSLY so... ^^
3. Prose easier than dialogue?
It... depends? I think dialogue is probably easier for me.
4. Enjoy writing sex scenes?
*laughs* I'm not sure Victor was 'fun', but... I was proud. (Especially after scaring SimonL.) Ayori/Nym was embarrassing, and... I think those are the only ones I've written. I never did manage Keenan/Seth... So, I'm not sure. Depends on my mood and how well it turns out.
5. Most troublesome words:
For what? Spelling? Using? I know it's a bitch trying to make characters admit attraction (Takashi! Damnit! Seth! And YOU, Clarke, get back here... fuckers... *ties them down*), but...
6. Do you use stickmen?
O.o -.- o.O (that's a very large blink)
7. Favourite character pov right now:
Emmett... definitely Emmett. He'll probably pass soon though. Damnit! I can never stay tied to anything. *cries* I'm so fickle. If Gabriel-tachi would come back, I love writing them... and Seth-tachi. *sigh*
