Nano Day 15, End
Nov. 15th, 2006 11:54 pm25,567 words. That puts me 1% over where I'm supposed to be. Woot. Thank god for that buffer, but I need to keep pushing it if I'm going to make up for Gilda's on Monday.
(Oh yeah - I'm PAing for the "It's Always Something" Gilda's Club variety show, which is being directed by one of my profs. And I get to watch it for free, and mingle/bus tables for the afterparty.
Also, LOL @ Rob's quote. Rob is also one of my profs, and is awesome and I love him.)

Date: 2006-11-16 01:50 pm (UTC)I'm figuring I'll just try for 2000 words the next four nights. It probably won't happen - roleplaying on Saturday, visiting parents on Friday - but it's a nice illusion.

Date: 2006-11-16 05:47 pm (UTC)Wow, Alex! Gilda's show looks like a great opportunity to get some experience. Plus, as you say, be able to "schmooze" with the likes of Eugene Levy, Jane Ardon, Sean Cullen, Colin Mochrie, and Eric McCormack, to name a few. And for a mere $250, I could join in, too as a Gold Patron. All to a good cause.
Hmm... Elgin Theatre, eh? Same location that hosted Canadian Idol; and it just so happens that Ben Mulroney and Eva Avila will also be at the Show. I'm wondering if there is a common denominator amongst production management. I suspect it will be televised, too... CTV, by chance?
They need any seat fillers that night? ;)
Sounds like it will be a good time.
Looking forward to game Saturday. Long overdue! :)
