Racism at York University, as witnessed by my friend harukami: here. If you use this Inkblotz location for bus tickets, PLEASE, if you can, stop until this gets resolved. What happened there just... makes me so sick, and especially the fact that the two girls involved felt that there was nothing that they could do about it. Something CAN be done, and SHOULD be done, and I beg you guys to help make it happen.

Definitely the things that people have done and still do on the basis of sexuality are abhorrent; I do not, however, appreciate the device of painting all of "us" with the same brush. It enhances the damaging "us versus them" mentality, for one thing. For another, I find the use of guilt as a manipulative device mildly offensive, particularly when used as a broad tool, not only against the offenders.

I am sorry that people have hurt you (addressed to the writer of the open letter), nevermind for horrible reasons. I am not, however, responsible for it.
