Mar. 6th, 2006 07:10 pmSo Humber got back to me about the Journalism program - I have been accepted for it. (Yay!) Still waiting on the Television Writing and Producing interview - I'm hoping that it went as well as the Journalism one.
A little Mage update: it is official - Chris' character now knows of more Guelph mages than anyone else in the city, even excluding the newly-Awakened ones, at a whopping total of six (and has met three).
School-wise, I am... losing interest in a major way. I can't seem to concentrate on school work (i.e. I should be looking for sources for my seminar, or starting to outline my thesis for my Shakespeare essay, or deciding what to present as an essay topic to my Frontiers professor, or studying for Death and Dying, or...)
Bleh. I need motivation, and how.

2) Burn through the best of your slacking habits that has a visible end. Once you've finished it there should be a slight wave of realization that in fact you've committed 1) to some degree and are in need of a mad dash of study.
It worked for me, it might work for you.

Date: 2006-03-07 03:07 am (UTC)However, there's definitely something of a chasm of difference when it comes to you and I. You're in, what, fourth year university now? This is my second. You've been accepted into another program, I haven't. Perhaps you've felt this way for a while, but are only mentioning it now, whereas I know for sure I've been doing this since, like, November. In comparison, you look like you're just taking a break, whereas I am just a dumb sloth.
But, then again, this isn't news to anyone. Still, I sympathize. If you hope I work myself out of my rut, I'll do the same for you.
