New Year's Resolutions

Pat's: Lose weight (down to 185); exercise more.
Mine: Talk to a career counselor before leaving UW; write at least 50,000 words of a novel by the end of the year. (That's about half of a novel-sized book, or, in other words, my NaNo goal for the year.)

I would do one of those 'summary of 2005' survey/quiz things, but I can never remember what happened. I track years by school-time, not real-time, so things are all mushy in my head. "Last year" is prior to April, not January.
