I think Snape's still good for the simple reason that Dumbledore would never beg for his life. He's never been afraid of death, he's even said there are worse things... I think he was pleading with Severus to kill him, going through with the plan they must've had.
Of course, this conclusion was one I came to after laughing hysterically at the idea that JKR had totally fooled us with the Snape-isn't-a-death-eater-he's-actually-a-spy for five books.
