It has just been a really long day on top of a really long week. Also, the photocopier mushed my brain (I was photocopying for... well, not six straight hours, but on and off for six hours).
That green light and that whirring noise will haunt my dreams.
When I was the Graphic Design Coordinator at school and nobody had been trained yet I spent mornings photocopying 400 11 by 17 posters, over and over and over again. That was an average morning. I usually had to go in between classes, weekends, and nights (11 by 17 takes a LOT longer to copy than 8 1/2 by 11, and whenever I'd leave to go do something else, I'd come back to find that the moment I left the copier decided to jam).
In other words. I understand about the haunting. It will haunt me forever too.
On the bright side, at least you get paid for it! Because I sure didn't!
Boo to photocopiers. Someday Ali, you and me will take a photocopier to a field and hit it repeatedly with a baseball bat, and kick it and stuff. It'll be like on Office Space. Yay us!
btw, I never took that nap so don't mind my gibberish. hehe.
