So Congress signed off on restoring Terri Schiavo's feeding tube.

I'm not sure how I feel about that one. On the one hand, I feel that it isn't Congress' place to decide that State legislation has no place. On the other, I can understand the desire not to allow what could potentially be murder go through.

Still, she's been in a vegetable state for 16 years. I doubt that will change any time soon.

I had a thought on this the other night: The States don't have medicare, so whose paying for her to stay in the hospital for all these (potential) decades?

Did they really? That's sad. I mean....I have seen people that ill and her family is definatly seeing what they want to see - her being ok and able to recover. And furthers my quest to convince EVERYONE to have a living will. Last thing I want is a 16 year vegitable state.
