Jan. 8th, 2005 03:33 amGoddamnit, I want to be in a musical now.
Everyone who hasn't should go see The Phantom of the Opera. Now!
Also,
Christine apparently loses an item of clothing every time she visits/is in a scene with the Phantom, not just when she falls asleep. Pat noticed this, not me, but he says that she loses her stockings, then the ring when he tears it from her, then her cloak in the graveyard, then the sleeves of her dress on the stage (which she doesn't exactly lose, but they keep falling down), and then the veil that he gives her and she throws away (and the ring, again).
I think it's supposed to be symbolic; the stockings are just the most obvious of the losses.
It fits the sexual predator aspect of the Phantom, I think.
Incredibly visually stunning movie. Highly recommended even if you hate musicals.
Now to try and put Oruha's hair on Sim!Danielle!

If you weren't impressed because you didn't like the music, no.
