Date: 2003-11-07 07:40 pm (UTC)The philosophy (well, philosophies) of which I speak... well, from my end, is namely objectivism and realism. Patrick is a bit fan of subjectivity and antirealism (being a lazy pomo). So, whereas I believe there is a reality beyond what we percieve (and that with effort we could find it) and that there are at least *some* things that are objectively true/not true, he doesn't.
Oh, and free will versus determinism. That's our other big argument.
And, of course, his love of literary criticism.
