I could go bowling tonight, or I could not. I could be social, or I could go finish reading Twelve and then, maybe, take it over to Simon so that he can read it. I could talk to people on MSN. I could lie on my floor and stare at the green walls and the ceiling and just watch my thoughts swirl around, the camera shooting from above, maybe rotating for effect.

Are there only seven seperate stories, retold endlessly? Is everything just a retelling of a Biblical story? Or are there many different components of stories strung together in new ways?

There has to be something new in the world, and not just something smushed together in a new and interesting way, or Noah's Ark on the internet, or a revenge story with elves in Toronto, 2011 CE.

Tanya Huff majored in Radio and Television Arts (at Ryerson).
Terry Pratchett never went to university.
Lewis Carroll studied Mathematics up to the Masters level.
Bram Stoker graduated from a Mathematics program.
*Douglas Adams majored in English Lit and did his Masters.
*Piers Anthony majored in Writing.
*Terry Brooks majored in English Lit and got a law degree.
*C.S. Lewis studied a lot of different things, but English was one and he taught English at Magdalene College, Oxford.
*William Goldman got a Masters in English.
*John Bellairs got his B.A. and M.A. in English, insofar as I can tell.

I think that's enough... now, bowling.
