Nephilim seem to be distinct entities (though they are "giants among men", or heroes/famous), and God caused the flood because of the wickedness of men.
Also, the word "nephilim" only occurs in one translation, as far as I can tell.
On a further look, it seems like most of their story is in the apocryphal Book of Enoch, and that they instructed women in magic and were the cause of the corruption of mankind, despite having come to earth to teach them righteousness, but this is so far unconfirmed in my search.
And this link is apparently a decent translation, from which I say: no, Sanctity is not 1) 300 cubits high or 2) about to start eating flesh.
