Strange as it seems...
Apr. 15th, 2003 10:30 amI'm not missing Brampton terribly much. Yeah, okay, there are exceptions to that rule... Like, I want to see Simon, and seeing Jason again will be great, and it means I'll get to see all the Turner people again. On the other hand, it means I'll spend my days looking for a job, bored out of my mind, arguing with my parents, and wishing I were back in Waterloo. On the offhand chance that I do get a job, I'll spend that wishing I could be somewhere else, doing something enjoyable. Spending the summer studying would be preferable to that.
Mostly though I'm going to miss people here. Adjusting to sleeping alone again is going to be a pain. And if I don't get to come back up for at least *one* of the three LARPs I'm in regularly, I may scream. They're my only chance of seeing anyone over the summer. Of course, there's always the Greyhound, but I don't think I'll be able to afford $36 a weekend just to roleplay (assuming I'd have accommodations).
And even beyond that, I'm going to miss people. Mostly Joyee and Steven, obviously (Joyee more if she goes even farther away ;P), but everyone else too. Yes, Patrick, even you.
Maybe next summer, I'll try for a job in Waterloo. Then again, maybe not.
