Aieee...

I'm... so... confused!

Well... moreso than usual. ;)

From what I can tell, I can't apply to Honours Psych until I have 291? *wibble* And... I dunno what that would do to an attempt to do Joint Honours Eng/Psych... and... so confused.

Must wait until thingies, questions will [hopefully] be answered there. If not, crash in on Psych advisor and wibble at her until such time as she tells me what I want to know!!!!! [<--- Sure sign of a deranged mind]

Not to mention that for Joint Honours English Rhetoric, they won't let me use culture classes for my languages. (OK, not that I would - Italian will finish the required courses nicely - but still!)

And I resent needing CS 100, or the implication that you need an OAC computer course to understand what they'll be teaching. I mean... honestly.

So far it looks like my courses for next semester (should I pursue this madness) would be:
Fall -
ENGL 200A
ENGL 251A
PSYCH 291
PSYCH 253
ENGL 102A -- the books for 102B are horrific. Drama = much nicer. Possibly 108H if I can get into it.

Winter -
PSYCH 292
PSYCH 211
PSYCH 261
ENGL 200B
ENGL 251B

---

Eww...

See, they SAY "First year should be your sample year!" but it's lies, all lies. You need to go in clearly knowing what you're doing, or you'll wind up needing to go back for an extra half-semester... assuming you don't fail anything.

And, I mean, I still need to fill two of my B-requirement courses, and I really, really, really don't like Anthropology (though maybe if Joyee will tutor me ;) rawr), Economics is scary, Geography is the singular most boring subject on Earth... Political Science? Maybe? PSCI 225 looks interesting (influential texts in ancient and modern times), but...

And I hope I can write off two of my Psych courses as counting for B-requirements. And the last option, Sociology. I like Sociology as much as the next person, but I did do it in OAC. SOC 200 looks suspiciously like my OAC course. SOC 206 might be okay, though it looks like it could turn into PHIL 202 all over again - 209 might be interesting, but I don't know how much I could say about trends in Italy/England in the 1920-50's.

SOC 250 looks cool. *grin* Contemporary Japanese Society ;) AND it doesn't require 101! Bonus!

Or SOC 262 (Cults and New Religious Movements - neopaganism is one, Lance, so UW is on your side here ;)

Over and over I keep seeing courses that I really think should be in Women's Studies... :/ Ah well. I do not have say on what is placed where.

Sigh. And then the next big question - for my A(iii) courses, do I:
a) finish the Italian textbook by taking 201 and 202?
b) keep trying my damnedest to get into JAPAN 101?
c) give up and take CLAS (201, 202, 210, 225, 251, 301, 361 [PHIL380], 365)?
d) attempt to get into MUSIC 116/117 (and then 216/217 year 3)?
e) do something else equally foolish?

I dunno... madness, madness, it's all madness I tell you!
