Quick notes from Ohayocon:
Jan. 13th, 2003 12:20 am-The guy who won Who's Line Is It? Anime was stalking me. Or I him. Something along those lines.
-I had an actual screaming fangirl who attack-glomped me.
-Luke and Dana are absolute cuties. I wanted to take them home with me.
-"Dancing" for 4 hours is painful the next morning.
-I am the Yatta Dance Master!
-I knew the Duck Hunt theme when no one else did. XD Arf arf arf!
-I am now the proud owner of a Virgo shirt.
-There are too many sexy people in the world.
-Long drives are bad times for introspection, but very good for Gais-catboys and flying-mad-scientist-Chibi!Keenans.
-Yaoi AMVs to "I'm Too Sexy". It will be hysterical.
-Subaru and Hokuto reveal the secret exorcism chants of the Sumeragi family, since Subaru can't come to America:
[credit to the Subaru and Hokuto cosplayers for this hilarity]
First you place your hands in the starting position and say, "Watashi-tachi wa tabenai kudasai! Watashi-tachi wa tabenai kudasai!" [Which means, "please don't eat us!"]
And then you do the Hokey-Pokey.
-We met Erica. One of the pieces in her book was Kage/Shinzui. I squealed and then had to explain why. Chantal did, actually, because I was overcome with shyness. Eee.
-Did I mention the fangirl? Scary fangirl.
-Oh yeah, and then there was the Toki ni Ai wa thing... XD Ahahaha.
At karaoke, everyone was doing Inu-Yasha and Ranma songs, and squealing over the Inu-Yasha cosplayer... so finally I go up, and I intro with, "Yeah, so we've had some yaoi fangirls, some Inu-Yasha fangirls, some Ranma fangirls... time for some yuri fangirls, eh?" Got a few cheers... so, sing the song... Then, after, there was this girl in the front row with a shirt: "I eat fangirls"... so I dedicated it to her, "because I can only hope it's true". Took a few seconds for it to sink in *giggle*
-Also got shounen-ai Yami no Matsuei doujin! *_* Kawaiii~~~~
So, all in all, fun for the whole yaoi fangirl!
