Oct. 17th, 2002 02:22 am*is in scared-giddy mode*
Well, today was cool as I spent a good potion of it with (guess who) Randy (well, and the LARP/RPG/Comfy room group).
So... it started at like 12:30 (when I got there from Psych, which is another days' story - too tired/in need of relaxation to do both). With me going to Comfy and just hanging out, talking to people, whatever - got him to give me a backrub, hehe.
"Relax."
"I am relaxed!"
So then went to see Junichiro - did minutes/hours/days/years and numbers. ^^
Watashi no tanjoubi wa hachigatsu no nijuu-san-nichi, sen-kyuuhyaku-hachijuu-yon-nen; Mokuyoubi, gogo shichi-ji nijuu-kyuu-fun.
If I did that right, that reads: my birthday is August 23, 1984; Thursday, 7:29 PM. ^^ Probably shouldn't have all those hyphens, but it helps me keep my numbers seperate in my mind.
Then met Serena for dinner (well, she ate - I went back to DC and ate). That was, as always, fun - sunflower seeds taste like peanuts!
Then ate in Comfy (no one was there!)... so ventured off to go home. Wanted to talk to Simon on MSN.
Crossing through SLC, found people once more. :D So, more backrubs, poke-wars, attempts at tickling, Randy read my palm (or started to... he kept getting distracted). Heh, apparently (while I DO hide stuff from people), what you see of me is authentic. Good to know.
Watched the LARPers prepare for their next session - sort of got a better idea of how it works now. ^^ May join soon.
Then wandered over to St. Cinnamon (I think), hung out with people, talked, bugged Randy to finish reading my palm (which he eventually did back at Comfy after). Wandered back to MC. Talked with Randy a bit there. Hunted through the tunnels, me chattering on about whatever came to mind. Finally decided to do his horoscope - said we should go back to my house.
Instead wound up going back to his (on Regina street - odd, that's where my mom lived the one year she went to Waterloo). Biked back half of the way, me sitting on the back part of the seat, him on the front, me clinging to his shoulders for fear of falling off. Rambled about horoscope-related stuff, and my relationships with Aquarius-people that I had just realized. ^^ Got back to his place, watched him talk online to his ex-girlfriend and check his e-mail -- god, his place was a MESS o_O My cough got really bad from the cold weather and then the dust of his place, so got medication from him for that. Made it much more bearable.
XD kept making fun of his mess, actually.
"It'll be clean eventually."
"I expect you to invite me back in three years when it is, then."
"Heyyyy... *pout*"
So then I did his horoscope... which apparently was fairly accurate. Go me. And then I looked at his random comics/news clippings on the fridge (funny!), and his video collection... we talked about Queen XD and memories related to music... then he called me a cab and I went home. :P
Yeah, so he seems to be a very touchy-feely person (no, Serena, NOT attracted to me). Lots of poke wars, back rubs (which actually extended to arms and neck... there's this really cool move he does on the neck. Should show you, Simon - makes me go all kitty-like ;) and... weeelll, I guess there were a couple grapple-hugs, but, whatever. It's not like he tried to pull anything. :P
The scared part of the scared-giddy came from the grapple-hugs, though, just because I know if he had tried anything, I couldn't have gotten free. But, I do trust this guy fairly well. Need to get out of the instilled mindset that everyone is an axe murderer...
But, lots of fun. ^_^ Though I do now owe him 10 bucks, and I kept him up when he needs to work at 6 tomorrow. :/
