That's in Iowa, for those that don't know.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah. My mom wants me to stay in the Brampton/TO area, but brings me stuff from the U.S., even though that would be zillions more expensive than residence in Canada. Duuuuuh.

Oh well. The courses look so cool! Lemme type some up (these are the ones I circled because they look so neat ;)

ASTR 1 - Descriptive Astronomy (I like stars, OK? ;)
Basically, a lot of startgazing and study of the stars.

COUN 101 - Principles and Techniques of School Counselling
Yeah, this is what I'll do... Be a counsellor!

ENG everything ;) Well, not quite. Reading Shakespeare and Reading and Writing Sexuality are the big ones. (I need to learn how to write believeable sex scenes for Seth and Keenan! ;p) Also Teaching English, Adolescent Literature, and Irish Literature.

FA-75 - Contemporary Film. ^.~ This is actually how to evaluate and criticize films...

HONR-82 - Looking For America: In Word, Image and Symbol
An Honors course, on how media defines America, and how folklore and folklife define America when not under media scrutiny. It looks cool.

FREN-105 - Enlightenment, Revolution, Romanticism: Transforming The World
Study of French literature in the 18th and 19th century. It caught my eye ;)

All the introductory Japanese courses. ;)

Conversational Spanish.

MUS-8 - Voice Classes ;)

Band, Choir, Orchestra... I'm masochistic indeed.

PHIL-40 - Ethical Choices
Looked interesting. ^.^ No Evil and It's Symbols though!

PHIL-51 Logic and Critical Thinking
Logic? What's that? ;)

PSY-everything. Not exactly, but close. After the introductory Psych courses, there's...
-Child and Adolescent Psych
-Abnormal Psych
-Human Sexuality (obviously :P)
-Experimental Social Psych
-Theories of Personality
-Psych of Gender
-Advanced Psychopathology
-Theories of Psychotherapy
-Internship (at a mental hospital)

Fun stuff, yes? Yes!

REL-119 - Death And Dying
Again, looked cool.

SOC-12 - Morality and Society
SOC-50 - Intimate Relationships
SOC-80 - Social Problems (crime, drug abuse, war, etc)
SOC-85 - "Shopping Mall" Society - 'is there more to life than shopping?' This question could only make sense in a culture whose moral conception of "the good life" is inextricably linked to the purchase of commodities as "goods".
It looked fun ;)
SOC-170 - Deviance (Chrysalids!)
SOC-176 - Cyberspace/Cybersociety (ooooh...)

THEA-11 - English Stage Dialects
They teach you to speak with about 7 different English (Irish/Scottish/Welsh) accents!
THEA-17 - Fencing For Theatre
C'mon, how could I NOT take it? ;)
THEA-105/6 - Playwriting I and II
Ooh. ^^

WS-151 (Women's Studies) - Sexuality and the Sacred
More or less the Church and gays and various points in gay relationships.

Think I've got a definite pattern going on there?

Soc, Soc, English, Psych, Psych, Psych, gay-related, gay-related, gay-related, Psych, Psych, Soc, Psych, gay-related, Fencing, Revolution, English...

Oh well. ^_________^ I'll become a writer of gay-centric psychological thrillers. Or Harlequins ;)
