So, hopefully soon I will have some better idea of why the hell my body hates me and wants me to die.

BONUS ADVANTAGE: My girl parts FUCKING HATE ME. Seriously. They have the WORST timing ever.

On the other hand, I can definitively tell the gastro "NO BABIES" I guess?

It sucks that you didn't get a gastroenterologist appointment sooner. I hope this doctor figures out what's wrong and doesn't just dismiss you with something stupid.

Also, see menstrual_cups for info on one method of making girl stuff less miserable. (People vary in whether cups make their cramping better or worse, but you'd at least have to worry about protection less often.) Additionally, I recommend bugging your doctor until you get pain meds that work. It took me around five years from when I started menstruating before the doc would give me a high enough dose of naproxen, and for a little while I had Tylenol 3 as well.

I feel your pain.

Not the menstrual pain clearly, but... I had major unexplained tummy issues one of my years at Davis (later attributed to stress, though not before enduring many weeks of Doctor appts, x-rays/barium enemas, ...). It sucks not knowing what's going on.

So here's hoping they figure out what's wrong, and that it is treatable :)
