alexmegamiSanctity/Ignorant Mass, 'Foreshadowing'
He's got an innocence that she enjoys, a sense of morality that just is, without any internal philosophical debates. She wonders, sometimes, what their children will look like, and it gives her pause.
(For reference: Sanctity is part [or possibly all] angel, and human/angel kidlets were, according to apocrypha, nephilim.)
Az/Pierre, 'D'or'
Men of God make people feel guilty and judged, so Az doesn't think of him when she's with Pierre. It worries her how easy he is to forget when Pierre tilts her head to the side.
Molly/Lidia, 'Hog Wild'
When he comes in the door, his living room is spattered with blood and god knows what else; the two of them in the centre of the room, inspecting a pile of boyaux, entrails. "We had to check your future," Molly says. "There was danger afoot," Lidia adds. He sighs, asking, "But did you have to get it on the carpet?"
Seiya/Haruka, 'Kick the can'
It's watching Usagi play this silly childhood game with the other senshi and Mamoru that really brings the two of them together. When she falls over and accuses Rei of tripping her, they share a sly smile that says, Hell was worth it.
Sumirya/Richard, 'Wedding ring'
She never mentions the way he rubs his ring finger after sex, or that she found a golden band in his glove compartment once. 'It's just an ex he can't let go of,' she thinks, and turns to visceral pleasures to take her mind off things.
(Context: Richard is my character Shannon's husband. ...Sumirya =/= Shannon.)
Doc/John Adams, 'Awkward'
It's finding Vincent's Vampire Playboy magazine, covered in spooge, that really seals the deal. They stare at it, stare at each other, and stare at it again. "Well," Doc says finally, "At least we know he ain't sly." "I need more drugs," says John.
