Yeah. It's just a little unnerving, especially when it's either a) politics (my aunt and uncle are Republican and my grandmother is Conservative), b) general -isms, as mentioned above, c) Patrick and his relative merits or lack thereof (I really hate having to defend my boyfriend, as I shouldn't need to).
