Now that I have your attention...

I've been reminded that I need to repost character descriptions. Therefore, er, reposting of character descriptions!

ABERRANT:

VICKI:

Vicki is a 20-year-old girl, 5'6" or so. Her features are kind of dependent on what point in the series you're asking about, so we'll start with the general: Vicki is curvy, with a "girl next door" face and demeanor. She usually dresses in outfits that are sexy and/or athletic, depending - usually a cute tank top and shorts in summer, jeans and soft sweaters in winter. Always, of course, on the cutting edge of fashion. Think Katie Holmes, Shiri Appleby in Roswell, et cetera.

Depending on "when" the picture is set, her eyes and hair change color. If it's Vicki just starting at university (or even pre-eruption), her hair is mid-to-dark brown and she has pale blue eyes. Later on, her eyes are glowing green, and after the summer between first and second year, she dyes her hair bright red. If it's right towards the end of the story (i.e. 'now'), scars in tribal-eque designs or detailed tattoos on her arms.


People you might want to put in a picture with Vicki:

JAKE:

If anyone is doing a picture with Jake in it, the first words are "think Scott Speedman", age 20. 6' or a little taller. Think your typical angry/angsty teenage rocker (except cooler). Leather jacket, jeans, white t-shirt, and a perpetual cigarette and/or flask of alcohol. Brownish-blonde hair, spiky, and I think darker blue eyes. Muscular but not gargantuan.

If it's the beginning of second season and he's supposed to be dormed up, he's bald and his skin is completely blue. If it's after "Jake Green" is dead, his dormed-up (mutant) form is mostly clear and kind of ripply (sound waves).

If it's "human Jake" in second season, it's actually "human 'Edward Black'" - think Adam Garcia, different hair and eye color (brown and blue), generally more "professional" looking (suit, etc). If it's his most recent self, go back to the rocker outfit.

THOMAS:

Pete and I can't seem to agree which version of Jared Leto is correct, but this one is the one Pete chose, so go with that. Black hair, blue (?) eyes, 6'. Always always always wearing long-sleeved shirts to hide scars. Later on, he has little purple crystals behind his earlobes - not big enough to notice if you're looking at him head-on, but important for a profile picture. Geeky, thin.

I don't think anything major changes from the beginning to the end for Thomas. Stupid Taint Resistance!

AMY:

Clea DuVall. 5'10". Wearing all black with combat boots. Even if she's dressed up - combat boots. (All together now, "I love that girl.")

IMAGO:

Oded Fehr, at 20, 5'8", without a beard. And wearing a suit. Also, oozing sexy. ON EVERYTHING.
--...actually, can I get a picture or mini-comic of Imago schmoozing on everyone? I would love that. XD;

AARON:

Yamada Takayuki. Also 5'8", in his twenties. Looks perfectly normal. Rather than that suit shirt, think more Adidas or sporty gear - Aaron may be a geek NOW, but he was a street racing stoner slacker less than two years ago.

DANIELLE:

Without the clover design/tattoo on her neck and chest, Oruha from CLAMP's Clover is your best bet. Green eyes, curly black hair, pale skin (think porcelain doll). Small girl (5'3"ish), thin, much more willowy than Vicki. Right now, usually seen wearing either a kimono-like outfit or a Mandarin-collar dress (like these, probably also in green, with a longer skirt but slits as high as you can get without it hitting her hip). Think sexy in a mysterious, sensual, persuasive-looks-across-the-room kind of way.

Person I really really really really really really would love to see in a picture with her:

BA'NE:

Think solid. Rectangular, even. Broad-shouldered, muscular soldier type; square-jawed, almost regal looking. Tanned from the outdoors, curly brown-black hair, dark eyes. Very tall (5'10" to 6'0"?). Again, think Chinese outfits, but also think armor. Even if he's wearing clothing (green, with black or brown - house colors), think breastplate (minimum - guy's got to worry about assassination attempts, after all). Unless, of course, he's partly naked. ;P

Small note: Ba'ne's technically supposed to be an emerald green around the edges of his face. If you can manage to pull this off without him looking like Swamp Thing, go for it. ;)

AZ:

I have no pictures, but think of a slight girl, also quite short (5'2"), Indian, long black hair kept back in a tight braid that frizzes a bit (...Emerald. Except Indian and without glasses). Depending on the setting, she either looks a) super-studious with a huge pile of books and is wearing long pants and shirts with practical shoes... or b) uber-skanky. And I mean super. Has three basic expressions: bored acceptance, intimidating/angry, and pensive concentration.

...er... if there's anyone that people wanted to draw, but I haven't listed (like the other Vampire people...) please leave a note. I've just been writing this for a while, now, and I need a break ;)

LIDIA:

Contrary to popular thought, Lidia doesn't look that much like me. ;) Facially, you can probably reference the doll - Lidia's supposed to have shoulder-length, wavy red-brown hair. Her eyes are hazel. She doesn't have glasses. She's supposed to look older than me - 26, in fact. She, like Vicki, is supposed to be much more of an mesomorph than an ectomorph - with an athletic, hourglass figure. If she's a vampire, she's pale, of course, but if she's *not*, she should be a little more tan looking (Italian and all ;). If she's not wearing her bulky, heavy, long jacket of doom, then she's pretty much wearing whatever's practical. (Or the schoolgirl outfit. XD)

If you want Jace in the picture, he looks like Pat combined with an 18-year-old Harry Potter, except wimpier. (Also - yes, Jace is supposed to be 18.) Geeky, thin. Glasses. Stereotypical gothy black turtleneck with jeans or black pants. Pale.

As far as I know, Rhys looks like Adrian, Molly looks like Joyee, and Pierre looks like Steven except not as cute. XD

Also, in case anyone cares to know:

VICKI uses kung-fu ninja fighting!

DANIELLE uses a glaive that's a bit like Sailor Saturn's, except it's shiny and gold. :D

BANE uses a bow and arrow.

AZ uses a foot-long bowie knife, now, which she's kind of obsessed with (...just kind of. Like, uh, very).

THOMAS uses telepathy/telekinesis, and if you draw little swirly circles coming out of his brain OMG LOVE.

JAKE uses voice-based explody powers.

AMY is also a ninja.

AARON and IMAGO don't ever fight. It would mess up their clothes.

LIDIA uses a pistol. JACE cries like a little girl until you stop beating him up.
