This weather can blow me.
Jul. 20th, 2004 01:37 pmWe just had a brief power outage. Annoying, but not surprising. It's raining cats and dogs out there, and there's a lot of lightning coming down too.
Why is the weather like this? This is one of the coldest Julys (Julies?) we've had in a long time, and also, I think, one of the rainiest.
And I get to walk 20 minutes through this... joy.
I sucked it up and drew the picture... I can't quite get the lips right. *sigh* One of these days I'll scan it for y'all, though it'll have a boobie warning.
As for feed a fever, starve a cold, I was right - it does refer to food. It's still an old wives' tale, though.

Date: 2004-07-20 10:51 am (UTC)I wish it rained like that here. I miss the Monsoon heavy rains of Thailand. And Lightning. Lightning is so cool, but so rare here.
