Okay, that might be overstating things slightly. I suppose it would be more appropriate to say that people like me are endemic to that thing you hate.

You know: terrible remakes, constant backstory revisionism in comics, thinly veiled reproductions of the same character over and over and over...

Totally me. I will remake characters endlessly until I give up on them having a satisfying ending, or until they actually get the satisfying ending I want. (Guess which one happens more often.)
