So I've officially totally failed NaNoWriMo again this year (there is no way I'm catching up on 33,333 words at this point). Instead I'm supposed to write another story for Jen (which has a much higher success rate of 50% so far). ;P

School-wise, I've been letting myself slack a lot. It doesn't seem to be affecting my grades much, which is... mixed. I mean, it's fantastic that I'm still absorbing the information, I guess, but I'm concerned about my ability to regurgitate the information if not presented to me in a multiple-choice format. And also exams are coming up, and while needing at most a 62% on a final is nice, I don't want to do the bare minimum. :P

Next term opens up hospital outreaches. That one kind of freaks me out. Ali has been very good about reassuring me (thanks hon :D) but that doesn't stop me from being a little wiggy about it. There's also the option of doing a pregnancy weekend course, but that costs $425.

I'm trying to get all three outreach certificates, also. That means two hospital outreaches, and 50 hours each of Sport (I have 6.5) and Community/Corporate (I have 5), so I'm going to have to step up my game next semester. I think it averages 5.5 hours a week until the end of the year (hospital outreaches are 4 a week at 8 weeks each, or 2 weekends for the Trimesters). If I have to drop one it'll be Community/Coporate, but I really want to make it happen... even if it means the cost of my already small social life ;P

I'm in Queer Idol again this year, and hopefully I will make it past the first round this time. After a year of singing lessons, will I have enough confidence to overcome stage fright? We shall see.

Living with my grandmother continues to be an exercise in frustration.

How's your life?
