The sublimely beautiful, fiercely independent, impeccably cultured, fascinatingly worldly and witty courtesans of ancient Greece. A seductive and dazzling blend of golden honey, fiery patchouli, sweet fig and clove, and a blushing touch of ylang ylang.
I can really smell the honey in this. It puts me largely in mind of eating breakfast with Katie - apples dipped in cinnamon and honey. :D The scent doesn't change much from vial to wet to dry.
Ultraviolet
Electrifying, mechanized and chilly -- the scent of crushed blooms strewn on cold metal. Lush violet and neroli spiked hard with eucalyptus and a sliver of mint.
Wet & Vial: oo, I think I'm getting the eucalyptus. My brain keeps trying to go to "clean!"
Dry: ...because now it's soap.
The Reaper and the Flowers
A funereal bouquet laid on cemetery grass: longiflorum lilies, white rose, chrysanthemum, and carnation.
Wet & Vial: Roses. Nice, but just roses.
Dry: Rose soap.
The Illustrated Woman
...
The tattoo'd woman winks at you as you pass by. "Break time, honey," she growls, as she blows a smoke ring in your direction.
Skin musk, smoky vanilla, pine pitch, patchouli, Indian resins, golden honey, and tobacco.
Wet & Vial: I get NONE of this. What I get is "holy fuck, cologne." Or maybe my dad's aftershave.
Dry: Oh yeah. STRONG cologne. A very sharp, manly cologne, too. Not... bad, but not really my style, not right now.
Mme. Moriarty, Misfortune Teller
...
A tiny woman with floor-length black dreadlocks walks out of the tent, stepping over the prone body. She is clothed in deep red wrappings, and is bedecked in golden ornaments bearing alchemical symbols and charms representing eternity, chance, and wisdom. She pauses, looks you over slowly, and then flicks a tarot card at your feet.
Red musk, vanilla bean, pomegranate, patchouli leaf and wild plum.
Vial: Cologne, but of a very different sort than Illustrated Woman. I think this is the red musk vs. the skin musk, at a guess.
Wet: Oh, yum. This is very sexy.
Dry: Mostly musk, but I can actually smell the vanilla bean! I don't get any of the other three, but damn, this is nice enough as it is. My favorite so far.
Two more left: Arcana and Moon Rose. :D
