AaaaaaaAAAAARGH.
Oct. 20th, 2004 04:36 amSo, I counted, and yup. I'm two courses behind. I'm going to have to graduate with 42 half-credits to get my Major/Minor combination.
SMF 204 and 205, why didst thou screw me!?
So my options right now, as they stand, are:
Take six courses a semester my final semester, leading to glorious semester breakdowns like:
-Psychosexual Organization
-Shakespeare 1 (everything before Julius Caesar)
-Arts Writing
-English Grammar 1 (aka "How to Teach English")
-Rhetoric and Media
-Criminal Profiling
and
-Personality Theory
-Shakespeare 2 (Julius Caesar and beyond)
-Canadian Drama
-Rhetoric and Writing for the Media
-English Grammar 2 (see note above)
-Introduction to Computers (aka "The English Department Figures That English Students Can't Use Word Processors, and So Assigned This Course.")
And... my brain, it explodes.
Or, option #2:
Take two courses as distance education over this summer. My options for these are (maybe) Shakespeare 1 and 2, CS 100, and/or Personality Theory.
CS 100 isn't so bad, and getting rid of one of my Lit courses early on doesn't strike me as a bad idea, but... ugh.
I guess I'll have to talk to my parents about it... maybe I'll just take an extra semester (or even year, and go for an option in something - like maybe SMF since those damn courses screwed me :P).
Blarg.
Also, holy crap it is 5 AM. When did that happen?
---
Also also, I am editing my poem and OH MY GOD I CAN'T THINK OF 750 WORDS TO SAY ABOUT EDITING IT. I mean... *weep* I am not a criticist! I don't know what she wants! I don't have the text in front of me! I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M DOING! And Meredith is not here to cling to ;_;
I feel like the professor will want this to be very very different from the original... but damnit, I wrote and revised the original like FOUR FUCKING TIMES. Apart from a few diction choices and the plan to string a religious element through it, I'm happy with it the way it is. *weep*
Speaking of which, Meredith, if you see this: would empty as the pre-dawn mist be cliché?
---
Also, I got a 79.5 and a 72.6 on my last two exams, and an 80 on a discussion paper that SHOULD have netted me a 100. Seriously. These marks are not measuring up to the amount of studying I'm putting in.
Also, essay due in 3 weeks, and research essay due the week after that.
MY BRAIN IT IS GOING TO EXPLODE.
That is all.
