So Amy, Patrick, Steuwe and I (as Vicki) were in Dana Porter/a larger version of the PAS building. We were panicking because there was a giant robot that was trying to get a sword that would destroy the world. This sword was, of course, housed in Dana Porter. It was hanging from a couple of strings from the ceiling.
The robot/mecha burst in, and I was freaking out. Steuwe was mostly confused, and Patrick kept trying to shout orders at Amy to destroy the robot before it got the sword. She couldn't hear him, but she was kicking the shit out of it - as a matter of fact, at one point she kicked its head off and it turned into the red robot from ExplodingDog.com. Its head tumbled away while Patrick yelled, "FUCK! I forgot to turn Persuader on!" (At this point I realized that Patrick had Mega-Manipulation, but his taint was that he had to "switch" between which Mega-Manipulation enhancement he was using and take a turn to do so). Steuwe was watching in mild bemusement.
Then the robot (still sans head) smooshed Amy (not literally, but she was knocked out and presumably dead). I freaked out, did a double-ninja-backflip off the three nearest walls and grabbed the sword and bolted out of there, screaming at Steuwe and Patrick to follow. I was terrified that Amy was dead, but we couldn't risk that the robot would get this sword. I tore across the small space into one of the Engineering buildings (I know, that doesn't make sense, but go with it), knowing that the robot had to find its head and that it couldn't get through the doors into this building (Dana Porter/PAS had larger doors).
So we bolt, sword in tow, through the Engineering buildings, trying to get to Comfy (a much more defensible location in my mind). At one point, we run into a wrong door and almost crash into three associate deans. They try and cart us off for carrying weapons, but they're bemused because it looks more like a play sword than anything. (The tip was bent and the handle was mostly duct tape.)
They want a P.O. Box to send the indictment to, and Patrick explains (he's got Persuader on now) that we don't have time for this but that Vicki (me) would write them a letter (since I had a higher Arts skill). We continue onward to Comfy.
I woke up terrified.
And I'm worried, because I, as Vicki, had all the proper skills/powers, as did Amy, and I was never sure if Steuwe was a nova or not.
And Patrick had Mega-Manipulation. That's scary in and of itself.
