Okay, so I lied...
Mar. 6th, 2002 12:32 pmBut it was unintentional.
They cancelled our flight, but we didn't find THAT out until we got there. At 6:30 in the frikkin' AM. So now we have to go BACK to the airport around... well, if we go with the 2-hour wait, 3:30, but I think the plan is closer to 4:30... I hope so, anyway.
I got to miss school anyway, though. I'm not sure if I'm happy about that yet. I also got to sleep for an extra four hours - I KNOW I'm happy about that.
Bleh. They cancelled it for no good reason. It was snowing here a little, yeah, but other flights had left - and it was 6C in St. Louis, with NO snow/sleet/etc. of any kind... *grumble* It's especially bad since with the new flight, we're getting into St. Louis at 6:45, but my aunt - who was supposed to pick us up - has to go into work at 6, and my uncle - who is coming back from a business trip - gets in at 7. I should really find out what our "alternate arrangement" is... Find out who's coming to get us. Most likely, my aunt had to trade shifts or something... *sigh* Baka airports.
Ah well. I've got rhythm, I've got music, I've got a new flight time... who could ask for anything more? ;p
Oooh, I also got three new Tanya Huff books. Fifth Quarter (BANNON!! ...back before he was an ex-assassin ;), and the Child of the Grove/The Last Wizard compilation, so now there are only three TH books I don't own, and two short story compilations. ^_^ So I'm happy...
