I know I'm an Arts student, but I am going to be spending sooooooo much time at the Math building. XD

So, I went to the Math building today and at first I saw people roleplaying but I was like... "aww... no one I know..." so I just went to get a chocolate bar. Turn around: aha! RANDY! So it turns out he was running this Lord-of-the-Rings system campaign... and someone was like, "wanna join?"
*looks at Randy* "Okay?"
*Randy shrugs* "Okay!"

XD XD XD XD XD So from like 8 PM until 1 AM I was Nekai, a gypsy bard. The only gypsy. The other humans don't like gypsies. XD Mwahaha. "The gypsy's up! Is that a dagger? What? Is he trying to kill your friend? Aiieeee!"

But, he's so... evil/good. He doesn't say much, but I think he's got a lot more power and a lot more in-character playing stamina than most of the others... mostly because I didn't argue with the GM. XD And he was in cahoots with the main bard, who I see him as having a lot of respect for.

But, yeah. So. Much. Fun! *squeee* And it's not even combat-based, not really. But, I had SUCH GOOD DIE ROLLS. *fawns* (it's a 2d6 base system, and I was rolling 10-12 for EVERYTHING... except initiative. XD;;;)

I'll stop obsessing now. :D

Today's Burrisisms:

"You know what I HATE? Getting shampoo in my eye. Because then I have to get conditioner in my eyes, and THAT means my eyes will be all frizzy!"

"Most people hate the sound of nails on a chalkboard... unless they're, you know, Chalkboard Masochists..."

"Shwing! response [pelvic thrust] ... or as most people call it, sexual arousal."

[back to chalkboard conditioning - he was scraping his nails on the chalkboard, and to demonstrate the conditioned stimulus/conditioned response, he'd go over and raise his arm and people would flinch]
"BUT if I walk over here [the window] and hold my hand up you won't care - no one flinches - you might leave 'because he SCARES me... What? Is your cable not working, bad TV reception, what?' This is where the aliens speak to me."

"It has no more 'flinchy potential'. That's a technical term."

"Now, I can't demonstrate a wrong attempt at conditioned stimulus with the chalkboard - I would permanently scare people if I could make it screech before I touched it."

---

I also got my blood test done today (for my yearly physical thing - to test cholesterol and such). Icky. But the nurse was nice.

I also spent THREE FUCKING HOURS trying to find useful books in the library (Dana Porter). Uhh... I guess I'm doing "does Romeo and Juliet endorse patriarchy?"... ^^ But, at least ONE of the essay books I has has something worth quoting.
